I have recently stayed at the Hotel Italia for 10 nights, under rather unfortunate circumstances. My husband had a heart attack while we were on holiday in Malcesine and was transferred to Borgo Trento Hospital in Verona. My priority was to find a hotel within 10 minutes walking distance of the hospital and the Hotel Italia fitted my needs perfectly. The hotel is also situated very conveniently to the centre of Verona. The Hotel Italia was the perfect choice for me. The room was very comfortable and cleaned on a daily basis and breakfast was plentiful. However, the best thing about the hotel are the staff. When I explained my circumstances to them, they were very understanding and did everything that they could to make my stay as pleasant and stress free as possible for me. There are two members of staff that I would particularly like to mention. Thank you so much to Nicolo and Francesca. Nothing was too much trouble for them, including ordering food to be delivered to the hotel for me when I returned from the hospital of an evening. I very much hope to see you again in the future under different circumstances.

The staff of the hotel is exceptional. True gems. In the morning we were provided with the map of the city and the nice guy on the reception explained what is best way to cover the visits to the all main sights of the city. Later after the check out, we had a problem with the contacting the place of the accommodation of our next destinations. The young ladies from the reception were super helpful and even contacted booking office for us. They helped us to search online and translated for us. Unfortunately, we don't remember the names. But guys, thank you so much! We liked the breakfast. On the opposite site of the road you can find nice bar and gelateria. Old city is about 15 minutes of walk.

Everything about this hotel was top notch during my stay. The room, decor, staff and accommodations were simply outstanding. The room is quite spacious, and the lobby is large and there are spaces to work if you need to do so. This hotel is an easy walk to the City Center, and I highly recommend same if you are traveling by car. There is a small bar/cafe across the street where the staff is quite kind and welcoming, and a self-serve laundry facility within 500 feet of the hotel. This hotel certainly makes my top 10 list of boutique hotels! I will rebook when I return to Verona in the future.

We stayed in the BILO suite. The rooms were air-conditioned, clean, and the sheets pressed. The master bedroom had two balconies, and the stay was overall quiet, though it is in the city and so the phantom sounds of late night pre-regret are nearly unavoidable. The lobby, decor, and staff were absolutely wonderful and the large and well appointed breakfast lacked nothing. My family and I will definitely stay again :-)

Overall, I had a nice stay there. The personnel at the reception were very helpful and friendly, they had a room ready earlier than anticipated and helped with the taxi service when I checked out. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The hotel is also within 20 minutes walking distance of the city center.
